Rokas is senior solution architect for software engineering, with more than ten years of experience in software development. He has been with No Magic, Inc. since 2010. Rokas is responsible for consulting MagicDraw customers on how to get most value from modeling and adopting modeling practices to fit diverse customer contexts in software engineering and business process modeling. He has run trainings and consultancy sessions with companies such as BMW, Nokia Networks, Microsoft, Amadeus, REWE, VIPA, European Parliament, etc. Before joining No Magic, Rokas worked as a software engineer, system analyst, and project manager in another software company, where he actively contributed to process improvement activities and acted as a modeling evangelist. Rokas holds Master in Computer Science and is OMG Certified UML Professional and OMG Certified Expert in BPM.

Today there is increasing recognition of the potential MBSE brings to system life cycle processes with the increasing complexity of systems and the demands of the global marketplace. In order for the practice to realize this potential, system modeling and MBSE must be part of the larger model based engineering effort, and integrate with other engineering discipline models and modeling activities across the life cycle of a system. Saulius Pavalkis is Global User Support Manager and an Analyst on the MagicDraw R&D team for over 10 years with increasing responsibilities. His major expertise area is model-based requirements engineering. Saulius is the owner of the new Cameo Requirements Modeler product, which has been recently introduced in the MagicDraw product line.

Saulius Pavalkis holds a Ph.D. from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). He also holds multiple professional certificates: OMG-Certified UML Professional, OMG-Certified Expert in BPM, ITIL V3, and OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional. Saulius Pavalkis has written multiple research and practical articles in model-based software design. He is the founder and chief editor of the modeling community blog (, dedicated for sharing practical model-based engineering experience.

Enterprise Architecture Framework is a structured tool for managing the complexity of systems of systems engineering in the organization using different abstraction levels. Abstraction levels allow the definition of strategy, operations (requirements), and alternative tactics (solutions) needed to implement operational scenarios. EAFs provide infrastructure to ensure complete and correct specification of systems (including human resources) integration using various techniques such as engineering analysis, traceability, and metrics. Some of these techniques are covered in the webinar which demonstrates complete workflow of systems of systems engineering using DoDAF. The workflow starts from (i) defining capability requirements, (ii) specifying operational scenarios, (iii) providing several possible solutions for particular operational scenario, and (iv) managing projects portfolio required to implement the selected solution.

Lina is the manager of the Cameo Enterprise Architecture product, which is one of the main products in the No Magic product line.

Lina Bisikirskiene holds a PhD in Informatics Engineering in Kaunas University of Technology. She actively participates in educational and consultancy activities. Systems Modeling Language (SysML) is used to capture systems design as descriptive and analytical system models, which relate text requirements to the design and provide a baseline to support analysis and verification.This session will demonstrate how model of the system, expressed with sufficient precision, can be used to support early requirements validation and design verification, particularly when coupled with an execution and simulation environment.
Additionally, we will show how to use test cases and associated verification procedures as combination of inspection, analysis, demonstration, and testing to verify that the designs satisfy the system requirements.

In the traditional systems engineering, or so-called document-based systems engineering, work products are created separately and consistency between these work products is maintained manually by the designer(s) of the system. One of the biggest Model-Based Systems Engineering ROI is the ability to automatically generate consistent work products out of a systems model. This session will demonstrate various approaches to work product generation from models. A special emphasis will be put on publishing information stored in the models on the web to various stakeholders, some of which have never been exposed to MBSE, models, or modeling tools.

Andrius is the MagicDraw Product Manager and Cameo Collaborator Product Manager, with more than ten years of experience in software development. As a Product Manager, he is responsible for setting directions for the products, forming their vision and roadmaps, selecting capabilities for each new version of MagicDraw and Cameo Collaborator. He is also working with major customers and ensures that the internal development team knows and understands the strategic directions and customer demands. His responsibilities also include understanding the market and the competitive environment. Andrius has conducted numerous trainings in Europe.
