Two Day Comprehensive BPMN Training

button-registerDay 1: BPMN for Business Analysts: Introduces business analysts to Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and its application in business analysis tasks. The class presents major BPMN concepts and notation elements, explains how to interpret BPMN diagrams, and builds initial skills in applying BPMN for describing and analyzing business processes. About 50% of class time is dedicating for hands-on workshops on real-life business process modeling on whiteboard/paper and using the Cameo Business Modeler tool from No Magic.

Day 2: Efficient BPMN Principles and Practices builds on the concepts learned on day 1 for more efficient application of BPMN practices. Students will learn how to make the most efficient use of BPMN based on proven principles, patterns, and practices. Covered principles include a clear definition of a business process concept, using a small subset of BPMN elements, adhering to naming conventions, creating simple diagrams with multiple layers of detail, choosing an appropriate abstraction level, and applying best practices. Covered practices include model ownership, collaborative modeling, model reviews and model publishing. About 50% of class time is dedicating for hands-on workshops on real-life business process modeling on whiteboard/paper and using the Cameo Business Modeler tool from No Magic.
